This time its in Turkey. Some nutjob decapitated a Roman Catholic Bishop shouting “Allahu Akbar! I have killed the great Satan!” as he carved. The Turkish government claims that the issue was personal and not religious. Are you $#%^$& kidding me? When a Muslim is shouting, “Allahu Akbar! I have killed the great Satan!” while decapitating a Catholic Bishop it is most definetly religiously motivated.

Here’s a rather good article from John F. Cullinan at NRO on the slide in Turkey towards Islamic fundamentalism. Just an excerpt from his article but it cuts to the quick the magnitude of the problems going on.
There are fewer than 60 Catholic priests in all of Turkey, and yet Bishop Luigi Padovese was the fifth of them to be shot or stabbed in the last four years, starting with the murder of Fr. Andrea Santoro in 2006, also by an assailant shouting, “Allahu Akbar!” (An Armenian journalist and three Protestants working at a Christian publishing house — one of them German, the other two Turkish converts — were also killed during this period.)
I know our governments like to repeat that we are not at war with Islam. For my part I believe that. Problem is, many of them are at war with us.
